Our Seafood Industry Group emphasizes representation of owners and operators of large fishing and fish processing vessels, shorebased seafood processing entities and seafood brokers and traders, both foreign and domestic. We routinely handle the purchase, sale, transfer and documentation of vessels and represent vessel owners in a variety of matters including insurance issues, oil pollution and other Coast Guard enforcement matters. We have extensive background in all facets of the seafood industry and members of our seafood industry group have considerable expertise in negotiating and preparing sophisticated agreements peculiar to the seafood industry including output sales and custom processing agreements. We also routinely represent clients before the North Pacific Fishery Management Council and the National Marine Fisheries Service.
