Real Estate and Commercial Lending
As an extension of the firm's real estate and business transaction practices, the firm has developed and maintains working relationships with several real estate, commercial and conduit lending institutions, including commercial banks, private and unregulated commercial lenders. The firm's attorneys and staff have extensive experience in documenting and closing loan transactions throughout the United States, and are particularly versed in working with lenders and their borrowers to overcome obstacles relating to title on collateral assets, environmental contamination and borrower organizational issues. We are sensitive to the balance between the lenders desire to remain competitive in a changing market and their need to maintain high underwriting standards, uniformity and continuity demanded by industry regulators and secondary markets.
